Inner’tainment Uncovering the Mysteries….. Teaching the tools.

At my husband’s prompting and inspired by the movie Julia and Julie, I’ve decided to start writing a blog . But instead of writing about poultry and pastry, my blog is about pyramids and practice, sacred tools and technologies and how to use them to gain better insight and understanding in our everyday lives. And though anyone who has ever eaten at my house can attest, I truly love delicious and beautifully prepared food, this blog is about food for the soul.

If you have ever felt like there must be something more going on in life than what the eyes can see, this may be a blog for you. If it seems that there must be some clues to how to navigate in this world with better understanding, then you may want to stay tuned. I am about the business of evolving. For real “about it ’bout it” as they say. I am also the mother of three young boys - ages 10, 3 and 1. Until recently, I must admit to being a bit lazy, allowing myself to believe that I didn’t have enough time to really practice using the tools I have learned over the years. Truth be told, its more a matter of discipline than time. It’s funny though, whenever I would use the tools on behalf of others, for my art exhibits, or when in some sort of personal quandary or crisis, things would reveal themselves with such amazing clarity and level of manifestation, I could only just stand in amazed acknowledgement of the clear presence of Spirit.

The objective of this blog is to become more disciplined in using my sacred tools and technologies and share my discoveries in the process. It should be revealing and fun, for the next… maybe 396 days or so.

These are some of the tools and techniques for becoming more present… This first one is one that I’ve only recently discovered and without it all the others are relatively useless: and that is Commitment.

Being a hippy-peace-n-love-n-freedom kind of gal, the word commitment used to be a bad word to me. But ultimately, if I’m about the business of evolving, there’s no way around it, ya gotta practice. That’s what’s real. Even something simple like lighting a candle or two and taking a moment to hold the intention for unconditional love… little by little, making small but intentional choices, I intend to choose, notice and record the changes that occur in my life as a result. It’s an experiment. And I am the guinea pig and the alchemist. Monday, February 8, 2010: Day 1

Today: I lit three candles while holding the intention of unconditional love and listened to the second of the 2 CD set of Michael Beckwith’s Life Visioning Process. That brother is the bomb. If you seeking to transform, upgrade or evolve in any area of your life I highly recommend any of his material but the Life Visioning process in particular if practiced, will truly set the ball rolling .

Okay that’s it for today. Everyday I will be sharing info using sacred tools and technologies and as the results manifest I’ll be sharing that too. So that you can know how simple it really is and what you can do to bring more innerstanding into our life.
